Part two kicked off 10pm PT sharp last night!
A new event quest section has been added, Shinra Building. Completeing it will reward you with 10x Yellow Materia, 3x SR Ability Scrolls III, 30k Gil, and Midgar Sector 8 Background.
Golden Chocobos have been added and show up with a posse of 7 red birds. Feeding all of them Vomp Carrots will reward a SR+ ability. I haven't been able to do so myself, I have no carrots. If anyone wants to donate a Google Play card, I'd happily accept it.
Guard Stick, Crown Scepter, Quick Silver, & Death Penalty are no longer available from the CP Treasure Chests during Part 2. In their place you can get the common drop Greatsword-Bastard Sword R,R+ and rare Organyx SR,SR+, Fist-Grand Glove R,R+ & Premium Heart SR,SR+
CP Rankings will be calculated on 3/11 Monday 09:59 pm PT, be sure to collect your CP from your MogBox unless you are saving it all for the Extra Part Rankings ;p
During the Extra Part, I believe we will get to faceoff against Jenova-Synthesis and Black Materia will finally be available. Hopefully it drops like candy, people gonna be needing a lot of it to transmute the CP Rank weapons and the Sephiroth abilities.
Hopefully everyone is enjoying this event. It is more complex in that it takes more brigade teamwork to coordinate a good group effort in taking down the reactors quickly inorder to face off Jenova-Death. As many probably figured out by now, your brigade's reactors won't restart if the opposing brigade deals the final blow to J-Death*.
Of course things happen when people go into a frenzy and then there is say a seven people simutanous attack to the death and it turns out you did the killing blow. The best way to recover is to spawn an esper by questing in the nonevent areas, then everyone works the reactors quickly. Kill the esper once that is done and respawn J-Death like nothing bad happened.
Should someone on your brigade accidently do the killing blow, please don't go all ape-sht crazy on them, its not very nice. It makes you look bad. People read walls ya'know. Oy the drama I've read.
*Game Mechanic or Bug? Its been debated by various people. By game design, it says reactors restart when you kill it or you let it escape. But the case of the other brigade killing it, it does not fullfill either of those 2 requirements. Therefore, the reactors do not restart for your brigade. Logic!
