And if you guys haven't figured out Transmuting by now, the R+ on the left will get you the SR on the right. Pink Crystals for Swords and Bows, Purple Crystals needed for Spears. (& Blue for event abilities but I haven't touched that stuff myself yet)

ReplyDeleteI have a noob question. Are pink crystals rare? I've been getting purple and blue crystals from Chaos Bahamut but no pink.
I'm not really sure at what rate each crystal drops at. I think it depends on how much damage you inflict when you attack (1 BP attacks vs 3 BP attacks) or damage over all (if you manage to attack multiple times.)
DeleteIn my experience it's based entirely on what you first strike Bahamut with. If your first attack on him is a single strike, you will be awarded 3 sets of 2 random crystals. If your first strike on it is an all out, you'll receive 3 sets of 3 crystals. Hope I helped!
ReplyDeleteI dunno, sometimes I'd do that All Out Attack & I'd still end up with 3 sets of 2 crystals.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty strange. So far that has proved true with every all-out I've done and all the singles I did. Oh well.
DeleteMaybe I futz it up doing an all out attack and then a single attack. Or I don't pay attention well, I've been tired lately too ^^;
