Just in case you used "Take All Shown" button, dont read the announcements on the airship page, and have no idea where the free SR ability came from...
Also new for today, Fat Chocobo is now available. Earlier it was redirecting people to the Airship page, but now it doesn't! Initially I thought it was going to be a cash shop item only, but then I learned that winning brigade battles will award Fat Chocobo items! (They should totally give away Vomp Carrots too, wouldn't that be nice?) I suggest trading in any SR/SR+ items that have a
fast leveling rate since they kinda suck. Otherwise I don't particularly think it is worth using these premium/rare Fat Chocobo items on R/R+ unless you want new entries in your collection.

ReplyDeleteCan you please share how you spend your CP? I've been spending every last point on platinum chests for weapons, but I'm not sure if it's more efficient to go for the gold or silver chests and evolve the lower ranked weapons into better ones.
ReplyDeleteIf you're going just for weapons its probably better to stick to platinum as you're guaranteed R+ with a chance of a SR. That really cuts down on time to actually create weapons, not to mention that you'll probably have a shard shortage if you go the roundabout way and upgrade Rs all the way up.
DeleteConsider this. Every 5 Rs make an R+(if you're trying to be CP effecient.)
Every 5 R+ make a SR.
Every 5 SR make a SR+.
To make a single SR you need 125 R weapons. To make a max limit boosted SR or regular SR+ you need 600 Rs
To max a max SR+ using your method you'll need 3000 R weapons.
You'll need the blue shards to support all of that upgrading which is better spent on abilities. So its time and shard effective to stick to platinum chests.
I've been spending my CP on Platinum Chests for the reasons Piero explained so well. The only time I bought silver chests was because I had extra blue Magicite left over after transmuting R abilities to R+. Also, this last week I have been only evolving my Thief Knives only 3 times instead of the 4 times maximum because I had extra Magicite to spare. Then I'm going to buy Abilities scrolls, since weapon scrolls seems easier to come by as brigade battle rewards.
DeleteHad me in a loop for a bit there but the math is a bit wrong and multiplied by X5 one too many times. 5 R's make a single R+, need 25 R's to make an SR, and 125 R to make an SR+. So max boosted SR+ takes 600 R's. Still its a very large number and most of time its still better to go after platinum chests. (Although when you get periods of time when you get like Glass Bell R+ X10 and Platoon Sword R+ X10 makes you want to chuck your phone out a window)
